The bouquet is the brides ultimate accessory other than the groom of course. It is as important as the dress, hair, shoes and veil. The bouquet wil be carried down the aisle, held in most photographs and should tie into the overall theme but must also be unique and special to the bride. The overall shape, size, colour and type of flowers used should be considered along with the height & frame of the bride, the shape and style of the dress. There are a number of shapes, sizes, styles and densities to choose from.
Your bouquet style should be guided by the design of your dress and the style of your wedding. A large, dramatic bouquet, for example, will drown a delicate, empire line gown; while a full-skirted ball gown will hide a small posy. Consider whether your wedding is contemporary or more traditional. A single, elegant lily might look wonderful in a modern, minimalist setting, but would look out of place in a country church.
